Pack 970
Pack 970 is made up of families from Darnaby, Jarman, Cedar Ridge, Grissom, Jefferson, and other schools in southeast Tulsa who like to have fun outdoors.
We had a great time during our summer activities this year, and are gearing up for another exciting school year this fall.
Pack 970 goes family camping twice a year where we always enjoy s'mores, games, and a great campfire program.
Activities and Adventures
Camping & Outdoor Adventure
Cub Scout families have opportunities to go camping and to participate in outdoor adventures. Lessons learned in the outdoors builds confidence and helps to develop a lifelong love and respect for the environment.
Den & Pack Meetings
In Den and Pack meetings, Cub Scouts make new friends, play purposeful games, and learn new things. Dens usually meet two or three times a month. All the Dens in the Pack come together once a month for a Pack meeting.
Pack Events
Packs put together special events and activities such as the Pinewood Derby, the Blue & Gold Banquet, and community service projects.
Doing Our Best
We’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience— no matter the difficulty of the challenge.
